How to create an account on slack

This guide will walk you through creating a new Slack account for your team. From initiating the account setup to customizing your workspace.

Go to slack.com

1. Click "Get started"

Initiate account creation by selecting "Get started."

2. Click "name@work-email.com"

Enter your work email address.

3. Click "Create a Workspace"

Create a new workspace for your team.

4. Switch to "app.slack.com"

Give your appropriate answer.

5. Click "Next"

Proceed to the next step in the account setup.

6. Click "Joanna Sarah"

Enter your full name.

7. Click "Next"

You can also add your profile picture in this stage, then, advance to the next stage.

8. Click "Ex. ellis@threecat.agency, maria@threecat.agency"

Add work emails for coworkers.

9. Click "Ex: Q4 budget, autumn campaign"

Enter workspace details.

10. Click "Start with Free"

You can select either the free plan option or the paid plan.

Finalize the setup by customizing your workspace and you are done.
