As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Payroll controller to join our finance team. This role will report directly to the VP of Finance and play a critical part in shaping our finance operations and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all financial aspects in a global, fast-paced environment.

Role Summary

The Bookkeeper & Payroll Controller will play a pivotal role in managing Guidde’s financial processes, ensuring compliance with local and global regulations, and supporting the company’s day-to-day operations. This is a full-time position with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and innovative company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day recording of financial transactions, including AP, AR, journal entry posting, bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Responsibility for account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Manage Israeli payroll processes and oversee work of external payroll provider and pension agents
  • Manage the complete AP cycle, including setting up new vendors, processing invoices, and executing payments. You will communicate directly with vendors in both IL and the US to ensure smooth operations
  • Oversee daily billing operations, generate collection reports, and issue payment reminders to both internal stakeholders and external customers to expedite late payments
  • Manage monthly statutory submissions (ITA, Social Securities, and VAT).
  • Monitor company travel expenses and track related invoices and payments.
  • Assist with corporate audit and other financial reporting requirements as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Certified level 3 Bookkeeper and certified payroll controller
  • At least 4-5 years of experience, including experience in a global company
  • NetSuite knowledge and experience - a must
  • High-level proficiency in English (both written and spoken) - a must.
  • Strong understanding of multi-currency financial environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in the tech or SaaS industry - an advantage
